Radboud University is located in Nijmegen which is Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. Close to the German border and a short 1.5 hr train ride to Amsterdam. This central location makes it easy to travel throughout The Netherlands and Europe.

A typical semester includes two ten week blocks in which students take 3 courses per block. During the Fall semester Students will have the option of the regular schedule vs a condensed schedule. The condensed version will only be offered to international exchange students while the regular schedule is open to both native and international students.
Fall: Condensed- Sept-Dec
Most students live in dorms or student housing on and around campus. These are located throughout the city usually about a 10 min bike ride from campus. It is very common for students to purchase a bike upon arrival and sell it before returning home.

Because this exchange program is part of Bowling Green State University study abroad options, financial aid that could be applied to study on BGSU’s main campus can usually be applied equally to study in the program abroad.

In addition to financial aid, there are International Travel Grants and general Education Abroad scholarship opportunities that are available for students on the Education Abroad WEBSITE
Students participating in BGSU exchange programs will pay their tuition and fees as if they were studying at Bowling Green State University. Students are responsible for their own housing, room and board, health insurance, and incidental expenses.
