Essex operates on a different academic calendar than BGSU.
-(October-January, BGSU students will return mid December) Please note that since the exam period is not over until January transcripts will not be sent out until February. Students should not expect their courses to be posted until March at the earliest.
(January-June) Please note that some students may not have exams and will be done with their coursework in April or May. This means students have free time to explore England and beyond. Students are not allowed to return early as they will be under a non negotiable housing contract.
Essex offers a range of accommodation options to suit different needs, preferences and budgets, all within walking distance of the academic departments and campus facilities.
Housing on campus is not guaranteed for students studying at Essex for only one semester. Essex will work closely with students to find alternative housing in town.
Students should expect to pay anywhere from 400-700 pounds a month.
