Why ISA?
ISA Service-Learning offers opportunities for you to make an impact in a community abroad, enhance your cultural competency, and develop key skills that you’ll use for the rest of your life.
Choosing lima
Lima, the capital of Peru, is a Pacific coastal city full of fascinating contrasts between traditional and modern influences. Dating back to 2000 B.C., Lima was home to pre-Inca civilizations as well as other cultures whose indigenous traditions and languages still thrive today. City districts are filled with museums, colonial churches, vibrant café scenes, striking architecture, and friendly people.
Learning by Reflection
Learning does not happen as the result of an experience itself, but through intentional reflection upon an experience. Therefore, a vital part of service-learning is critical reflection through a guided curriculum.Learn More »
