Program Description:


Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is a public university located in Getafe Spain.  Its name refers to Charles III of Spain.

The university is ranked as one of the best universities in Spain. The undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Economics and Law are ranked first, first and second respectively among those offered by public and private universities in Spain, and its Master and Ph.D. programs also rank top in the country. The Department of Economics is among the 50 best worldwide, and in the top 10 worldwide best in Econometrics.  This program is open to BGSU students currently enrolled in the College of Business.

All courses except optional Spanish language courses are taught in English by international faculty.

There are a variety of housing choices available to students studying in Spain.  Various dormitory, host families and apartment options are available to suit individual preferences. Additional housing details can be found HERE. 

Because this exchange program is part of Bowling Green State University study abroad options, financial aid that could be applied to study on BGSU’s main campus can usually be applied equally to study in the program abroad.

If contacting via email please include your name and ID number along with the program name and semester you are planning to study abroad.  For appointments, please also include several days and times that work for you.  
In addition to financial aid, there are International Travel Grants and general Education Abroad scholarship opportunities that are available for students on the Education Abroad WEBSITE.

Students participating in BGSU exchange programs will pay their tuition and fees as if they were studying at Bowling Green State University. Students are responsible for their own housing, room and board, health insurance, and incidental expenses.
