Affiliate Scholarship
What the scholarship is for: Students applying to the following programs are eligible for the Affiliate Scholarship, the award amount of which will vary. Eligible Education Abroad Affiliate Partner programs include: 
  •  Academic Programs International (API)
  • International Studies Abroad (ISA)
  • University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) 
Eligibility for scholarship: In order to be considered for Affiliate Scholarship, an applicant must:
  • Have applied to one of the above affiliate programs (proof of acceptance must be provided to the Education Abroad Office before funds are released) 
  • Be a full time, undergraduate BGSU student
  • Be earning credit for his/her study abroad experience 
  • Be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA

Deadline: The Affiliate Scholarship Application and supplemental materials must be submitted to the Education Abroad office by: 

Summer- March 1st
Fall/Academic Year-March 1st
Spring- October 1st

Students who receive an affiliate scholarship will be required to volunteer eight (8) hours for Education Abroad the semester they return to BGSU. Students graduating immediately following their time abroad must fulfill the requirement prior to their study abroad experience, or while abroad.
